Comparison of flow cytometric and microtiter plate DAT results in 69 dogs suspected to have IMHA. DAT: direct antiglobulin test. Red blood cells (RBCs) marked positive with FITC goat anti-dog IgG were expressed in percentages. The dotted line represents upper limit of normal (6%; mean + 2 SD of 13 control samples). Groups were compared by Cohen’s kappa, κ = .60 (95% CI, .41—.80, p < .001). Interpretation of κ values: very good agreement (≥ .81); good agreement (≥ 0.61); moderate agreement (≥ .41); fair agreement (≥ .21), as per Landis and Koch [30] and adapted by Brennan and Silman [31]; SD: standard deviation
